The Athens Masonic Hall was erected in 1967 on the same location where the old two-floor Athens Masonic Hall used to stand. The construction of the new building was spearheaded by the then Grand Master Alexandros Tzazopoulos, who considered the existence of such a building absolutely necessary for the success of the founders’ objectives. It consists of five floors, a terrace and a basement. It serves lodges based in Metropolitan Athens. It includes six Masonic Lodge Rooms, special chambers, internal public service areas covering the simultaneous operation of the aforementioned rooms, sanitary rooms for men, women and people with disability, a kitchen – preparation room, a restaurant hall, offices housing the Masonic Foundation, lockers and storerooms. The building also houses the Athens Masonic Museum and the Masonic Library.
