Photos Yiofyllis was the literary pseudonym of Spyros Mousouris

After his studies in Corfu, he attended the Art School of the Corfiot painter Sp. Then he came to Athens and attended courses at the Law and Philosophy School. He wrote articles for the newspaper Akropolis but also edited and participated in magazines of the time, such as Culture, Votoria, Elefthera Eptanisa etc. He edited an anthology of young Greek poets from 1900-1920. He was a member of the Union of Editors, the Euripides Ancient Drama Society, the Parnassus Philological Society, the Society of Byzantine Studies, the Society of Greek Writers. He was awarded the first prize by the Hellenic Linguistic Society. He first published his poems in a Corfu newspaper in 1905. He then published in Noumas. In 1913 he published his first collection of poems entitled Archontika . This was followed by prose writings, poetry collections and theatre. He also had solo and group exhibitions of paintings.

He wrote many studies on Greek Art. We selectively mention his works according to their subject matter.

He also made translations of ancient tragedians , Lucian, Aristophanes and Theatre.
