He was born in 1944 in Molae, Laconia. He attended the Second Gymnasium of Arenas and the Barbika Lyceum. He served in the Navy from 1966 to 1969. He speaks English, German and French. He is married with one son. He studied computer science in Germany, where he subsequently worked for C.H.F. Mueller (a subsidiary of Philips) in the development of hospital applications and the organisation of hospitals.
He was initiated into Freemasonry in Germany in St. “Anglohanseatic” under the Grand Lodge of British Freemasons in Germany (one of the 5 United Grand Lodges of Germany). In Greece he joined the German-speaking St. “Apollo” No. 98, in which he served in 1985 as the Rev.
In 1991 he was appointed Dean under Prof. In 1991 he was appointed by the University of Greece in 1991. In 1995 he was elected a member of the Council of the Great Council of Greece and has since served in the following offices: Chief of the Forces (1995-1997), Major Tel. (1998-2000), Maj. Treasury (1998-2000), Maj. (2001-2003), First Maj. (2007-2013), Major D. (2013-2016) and Lecturer (2013-2016). M.Sc. since 2016.
Chairman of the International Relations Committee of the Greater Greece from 2004 to 2019. In the York System he served as Grand Provost, Grand Master of Cryptic Freemasonry, Grand Master of the Knights Templar of Greece and Cyprus. Founding member and Grand Officiant in the collateral Systems of Athelstan (Ancient Masonic Order of Alfred the Great), Allied Masonic Degrees, Holy Royal Arch Knight Templar Priests, Pilgrim.
