He studied at the Medical School of Athens. He was also involved in politics and was elected MP for Arcadia from 1910 until his death. He was Minister of Health from 1933 to 1935 under the government of the Republic of Greece. Pan. Chaldari . He participated in the Greek government of the Middle East in 1942-43. He was a pioneer in the foundation and construction of the People’s Hospital, in the addition and extension of new buildings of the Sotiria sanatorium. He also established health centres in the capitals of various prefectures. He organized the Athens Health School, for the better education and training of physicians and supervisors.
