F:. Pythagoras

(Sicyon 1852 – Vello 1924)

 

After graduating from the Athens Law School. He trained in France in Commercial Law. He became lecturer of Commercial Law (1880-81), University of Athens. Mayor of Kiatos (1883-87). Member of the Corinthian Parliament several times from 1892 to 1915. Secretary of the Ministry of Justice. Served as Governor-General of Crete (1917-20). Vice President in the government of Alex. He served in Greece from 1922 to 1922. In 1922 he became Prime Minister for a few days from 13.9.1922 to 14.11.1922. His government resigned in the face of the responsibilities and the coming burden of the huge Asia Minor disaster and the blind search for accountability and catharsis. He dissociates his stance for the condemnation of those responsible in the famous Trial of the Six , which was the tragic end of this period
