He studied at the Law School of the University of Athens and continued his studies in Paris in Philosophy, Literature and History. He returned to Greece and was appointed to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as a diplomat – consular officer. He was promoted to Consul General in 1909. He served in many foreign countries (France, Italy, Turkey, Egypt, Egypt, Romania) until 1932. He fought in the Balkan wars.

His long stays abroad brought him into contact with people of spirit and literature. His literary talent was thus enhanced and his poetic work became widely known. His poetry is lyrical and philosophical in its contemplation. He published poems as well as short stories, critical studies, travelogues, biographies, in magazines ( Nea Estia, Panathenaea, National Calendar, Gallery, etc. ).

He also made translations of the Greek Literature in Italian, mainly, but also of works of E. A. Poe, Hugo, Schiller, Foscolo and Solomos in Greek. His studies on Ionian literature were important.
