Papadimas Nikolaos (1890 - 1964)

He studied at the Military School of Evelpidon and then as an engineer at the H.M.P. He took part in the Balkan Wars in 1912-13. Then in World War I, Asia Minor campaign as D/Artillery Division. He was discharged in 1923 due to his participation in a military movement.

Later he was called and took over the Vice-Ministry of Military Affairs during Metaxas’ premiership and then became a minister during Koryzis’ premiership until the entry of the German occupiers (1941). He was honoured by the State and the army with the Order of the Phoenix, the Golden Cross of George I and with medals (Grand Crosses) of foreign countries, Poland, Serbia and France.
