In Freemasonry he entered the Lodge “Osiris” under No. 117 in Ann. Athens on 9 April 1971. On June 16, 1972 he received a pay increase to the rank of Partner and on May 31, 1973 he was elevated to the rank of Master in his parent Lodge “Osiris” No. 117 En Ann. Athens.
He is a founding member of the “Dionysius Roma” Sect Lodge No. 124 Ann. Athens, where he was elected Venerable in four years 1983-1987. On May 26, 1992, by a unanimous decision of the members of the “Dionysius Roma” Lodge No. 124, he was proclaimed Honorary Venerable of that Lodge. He is a founding member of theBellerefontLodge No. 129 Ann. Elefsina in 1979. For many years he was Grand Superintendent of the Acropolis Lodge No. 84, the Adelphosis Lodge No. 65 and the Spyridon Nagos Lodge No. 111 An. Athens. He had been elected Honorary Member of the following Sect Lodges ‘Acropolis’ No. 84, ‘Adelphosis’ No. 65 An. Athens, ‘Osiris’ No 117, ‘Delphi’ No 86 An. Athens and ‘Adonis’ No 115 An. Nicosia Cyprus.
Until his election as Grand Master and for more than twenty years his Lodge honored him by electing him as its Representative to the General Assembly. In June 1995 he was appointed Representative of the Grand Lodge of COLUMPIA, USA, in Greece. On 17 May 2003 he was made an Honorary Member of the Regional Grand Section of Cyprus under the auspices of the United Grand Section of England. On 7 May 2005 he was made an Honorary Member of the Order of the Knights of the Temple of Massachusetts, USA.
In the elections of January 1995 he was elected Member of the Council of the Grand Council of Greece and was given the office of Grand Secretary, re-elected in 1998 and held the office of Second Grand Master and in 2001 the office of Grand Master until 2004. During his tenure as Grand Master of the Grand Master of the Grand See of Greece, he simultaneously held the offices of Exalted Primate of the Grand Pavilion of the Masons of the Basic Arch of Greece, as well as Grand Master of the Knights of the Temple of Greece.
In the Scottish Press, he was inducted in the year 1974 in the 4th degree of the Secret Doctrine in the Lodge of Perfection “Mystagogy” No. 5 in Cologne. Ilisos and An. Athens, where he was elected to various offices, such as Second Inspector, First Inspector, etc. He subsequently rose through the ranks of the Scottish Press and on 27 January 2009 was unanimously elected 33rd and Patron Member of the Grand Council of the 33rd for Greece.

On 3 March 2006, he was awarded the titles of (a) Honorary Grand Master of the Royal Arch Masons, (b) Honorary Grand Master of Cryptic Freemasonry and (c) Honorary Grand Master of the Grand Encampment of the Knights of the Temple of Greece.
