Matesis Antonios (Syros, 1867 - 1952)

He was a son of the Ionian Zakynthian aristocratic family. He studied law at the University of Athens and became a lawyer. He was president of the Athens Bar Association from 1911 to 1918. He was also involved in politics and was elected as a member of parliament for Attikovoiotia in 1915 and 1920. He left an interesting literary oeuvre.
