F:. Acropolis

(Andritsaina 1892 – Athens 1977)

He studied Law at the University of Athens. In 1917 he entered the Judiciary as a Judge. After a brilliant career he became Deputy Prosecutor of the Supreme Court (1939). In 1945 he represented Greece in the controversial Nuremberg International Trial, as Assistant Prosecutor, against Nazi war criminals. In 1950 he became a prosecutor of the Supreme Court. Because of his integrity he was elected as caretaker minister of the interior ( 9/1951) in the government of Sof. Venizelos and in October 1952 as caretaker Prime Minister , caretaker government, which held the elections of 16.11.1952, in which the party of “Synagerimos” of General Alexandros Papagos was elected. D. Kioussopoulos highly cultured was a founding member of the Society of Peloponnesian Studies, served as its Secretary and President, and then handed over to another tactician , Tasos Gritsopoulos. In 1973/4 he was president of the Athenian Club.
