(Laconia 1904 – Athens 1975)
He studied at the Medical School of Athens and trained at the University of Paris. Assistant surgeon 1924-28 and attending surgeon at the Tzanneio General Hospital of Piraeus 1929-32. Then deputy director 1937-41 and co-founding director of the Urology Clinic. In 1942 he became general director of the hospital. In 1950 he became involved in politics and was elected MP for Piraeus and the Islands with the Hellenic Synaerymos from 1951 to 1954. From then on he was elected with the EPE, 1956, 58, 61 and became Deputy Minister of Social Welfare in 1955-56. He served as President and co-founder of the Hellenic Cancer Society. Member of the International Urological Society, surgical, anaesthesiological, gastroenterological etc. medical societies . He participated in many International Medical Conferences. He wrote many studies, theses published in medical journals. He was a member of the Grand Lodge of Greece.
