Graduate of the Medical School of Athens and Doctorate of the University of Paris. He continued his studies in Germany and finally in Cambridge, England. He worked in anatomy and surgery. He worked in hospitals in France and in university clinics in Greece. In 1952 he became a lecturer in Descriptive Anatomy at the University of Athens. He taught in military schools. In 1967 he became an adjunct professor and in 1969 a full professor. In 1973 he was dismissed by the dictatorship of the Colonels. He was reinstated with the post-independence and taught at the chair of anatomy from 1978 – 1982. He was a distinguished member of several medical societies in France and Greece. He published many studies in European countries and in Greece.
