Lawyer and journalist. He studied law in Athens and France. He was associated with Clemenshaw and was influenced by the ideas of the French Republic. He worked in Athens as a lawyer, met with the Tecton Rocco Hoydas, Mich. Katsibalis, P. Pana and founded the democratic association “Rigas”..
He also participated in the secret revolutionary organization“Comitato National Salvation”. He worked, wrote and fought for democracy, an ideologue and uncompromising to the end of his life. He called for social and political reforms, writing from 1873 in the newspapers Palingenesia, Neologos Rizospastis of Athens and Avantis and Euboea of Chalkida.
He participated in the uprising of the Thessalian plain in 1878 and was involved in the efforts to annex Thessaly. In 1880 he found himself in Volos, where he lived, became a politician and was elected as a deputy. He took part in the unfortunate war of 1897. He criticised the leaders of this foolish action. His critical eye was always democratic, severe and substantial. He became a politician and was elected several times to parliament. He became minister in 1892 of Justice and Foreign Affairs in the government of Constantinopoulos.
He fought with Eleftherios. In 1916, he joined with Eleftherios Venizelos in the Defence movement. He was entrusted with the management of the political office of El. Venizelos.
