He studied Law and Literature at the University of Athens. He received a PhD but never practiced law. Instead, he became involved in journalism from a young age of only 19. He worked with many newspapers as a correspondent for Acropolis, but also for Ebrosius and Eleftheros Logos etc. He covered the Balkan wars of 1912-13. He used the pseudonyms Danaos and Kostas Markelos. He was involved in literature , short stories and novels, often with travel and maritime themes. He also did folklore and historical studies.
He collaborated with the magazines Nautical Greece, Parnassos, Free Man etc: Anecdotes of King George I, The Battle of Elli, The Strayed Ones, Language and Fire, Language Design , The Epirotes who emigrated, Stories of the Ship, The Spirit of Religion in the Greeks, etc.
After the Asia Minor catastrophe, the civil division and the tragedy suffered by Hellenism, the sensitive patriot was shocked and conceived the idea of Omadism. He analyzed with philosophical thinking and arguments , the lack of unanimity, self-centeredness, the rivalry of beliefs, the indifference to the common and proposed cooperation, mutual respect, social reconstruction, collectivity. He gave his soul to his homeland by organizing the Association of Skyria (1922-1940). His fellow countrymen loved him as a symbol for his ideas and his contribution to their land. Faltaic belonged to the Nation and his desires, he became the dream of giving.
