Daoutis Zisis (Tyrnava, 1772 - Vienna, 1836)
"Minerva zu den 3 Palmen" (Minerva zu den 3 Palmen)

An Epirus Greek of the diaspora from Tyrnavos. He belonged to the Greek enlightenmentists of the pre-revolutionary period who collaborated with King Feraeus and worked as an editor in Vienna. He became known to all the intellectuals of his time with his work “Greek Poetry Anthology” which is the first published anthology in Greece, (1818), the publication was financed by two friends of his, P.D. Pamphylos and D.H. D.P.P.G. and D.D. Malcozzoglou.

He travelled extensively visiting the communities of Hellenism in the diaspora (Vienna, Iasi, Bucharest, Smyrna, Constantinople, etc.) Daoutis was initiated into the lodge “The Minerva of the Three Phoenicians” in Leipzig in 1796 and remained an active member until his death.
