He studied Law at the University of Athens. He was elected MP for Hydra with the National Liberal Party (KEF) on 15 February 1928, in place of the deceased Ioannis Manos. He was re-elected MP with the Liberal Party in the elections of 1926 and 1928.

From 19 July 1926 to 22 August of the same year he served as Minister of Justice in the government of Athan. From 19 July until 1922, he served as Minister of Justice in the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Greece under the rule of Athan Eustaxis. He was elected while a sitting MP on 24 June 1931.
