He studied medicine at the University of Athens and then trained in France. He returned and took over the direction of the Pathology Department of the Municipal Hospital of Thessaloniki for 12 years. In 1948 he was elected associate professor of pathology at the University of Thessaloniki. He died teaching on the chair. He left many scientific papers, among them, Sulfamido therapy in malaria.
