He studied law at the University of Athens. He then served in the judiciary and reached the rank of Prosecutor of Appeals. He became involved in politics and was elected as a member of parliament with the People’s Party. He was also elected as a proxy of Cyclades in the 5th National Assembly in 1935. He also participated in the revisionist Parliament of 1936. He was Minister of Justice in the government of P. Tsaldaris in 1936.
