Apart from his capacity as Professor of the Athens Agricultural School, he was a philosopher and a deep thinker. As a professor he taught at the Chair of Agricultural Hydraulics and Topography. He served as Director of the Ministry of Agriculture and was the rapporteur of many laws, such as: the establishment of the Directorate of Forests of the Ministry of Rural Development and Food, the provision of the settlement of torrents, etc. He wrote studies and left a rich philosophical work on the Ancient Greek Philosophers, which was compiled and published under the same title in 1971. It includes Pythagoras, Empedocles, Socrates, Plato, Stoics, etc.
