Honoring the International Childhood Cancer Day, the Masonic Foundation signed a Memorandum of Cooperation (M.O.U.) with the Masonic Medical Research Institute (M.M.R.I.) of the Grand Lodge of New York. The memorandum for mutual cooperation in the fields of medical research was signed by the two Presidents, Georgios Biniaris and Paul Hulk, in the presence of the Masonic Foundation’s Board of Directors member, Brother Fotis Tsounis, and the M.M.R.I.’s CEO, Dr. Maria Kontaridi, a renowned scientist of Greek origin.
Dedicated to its charitable purpose and the relief of suffering fellow human beings, especially Children, the Masonic Foundation completes 100 years of operation and social contribution within the framework of its regular program, MASONS FOR THE CHILD. Its great contributions in blood donation, donations of hospital equipment to pediatric hospitals, contributions to the Special Olympics, to Special Needs organizations, etc., have now been publicly appreciated and make us proud.
Without deviating from its purpose, it adapts to the new social conditions and, in this context, the Memorandum of Cooperation was signed in Chicago. A new era of action lies ahead for the Masonic Foundation. We are proud, strong and dedicated and we continue towards the fulfillment of our purpose.
