Dear Brn,
With a deep sense of responsibility, and sincere emotions, I accept the recognition and trust of my brethren, receiving the leadership of the Grand Lodge of Greece from my worthy predecessor M.W. Bro Michael Mattes, and all illustrious Past Grand Masters that preceded me. Today, we will together turn a new page in the annals of Regular Greek Freemasonry. A history commencing more than 200 years ago, by eminent sons of our homeland, inspired by the values, principles and ideals of Freemasonry.
Although Freemasonry is built on a solid foundation, being a progressive institution, it keeps constantly evolving. Masonic Leadership, is not merely restricted to the administration of the Order; rather it includes the sacred task of providing inspiration to the brethren. It is not simply about enforcing orders and decrees, but rather, about offering inspirational guidance, leading by example while maintaining a high moral standard. In this way, our lodges become beacons of free thought and progressive ideals, while promoting charity and benevolence, as living stones of society. With the expected goal of improving ourselves, in order to be useful to our family, our environment and our country, the prerequisite is to ensure our inner balance. It is this cultivation of our inner self, in harmony with our actions and attitudes, both towards our brothers and towards society, always inspired by dignity and selflessness, with LOVE being our quintessential value and cohesive material.

we consider ourselves truly blessed to have the honor and privilege of being part of this important and influential global fraternity. As our admission and our attendance are completely voluntary, out of “intimate and free will”, I invite you to extend this voluntary attitude to include the participation of those who wish to participate in collective structures and actions that are created in Greece, aiming to optimize the wonderful institution we serve. Such as specialised informal thematic committees of masonic, scientific, charitable and broader social and communication content. This will achieve the coordination of our cells – our Lodges and will enhance the Great Work of benevolence and offering of our Grand Lodge, making it more widely, authoritatively and officially known to our society, to which we have been offering it over time, thus participating in a greater cause.
This landscape we are called to serve is changing at a dizzying pace. New ways of communicating, new technologies. New ways of communicating, new technologies. A key prerequisite for our survival island growth as a fraternity, is to adapt to these new conditions. But an adaptation that will not deviate from the institutions, traditions, values and universal ideals of Freemasonry. This eqilibrium is challenging, but we will achieve it by relying on the knowledge, unity and contribution of our volunteering brothers and sisters by organizing workshops, seminars and providing all kinds of assistance to our fellow human beings in need.

I invite you all to this inspiring march. With unity, vision and commitment to our ideals. With ethics and selflessness. As far as I am concerned, I promise to make every effort as the initiator and coordinator of this Great Project to make it a success. For the good of our Fraternity, for the good of our country.
