The Masonic Foundation donated a state-of-the-art complete anaesthesia system to the “Elpida” Children’s Oncology Hospital. This endeavour was part of the broader “Freemasons for Children” programme.
During the presentation event that took place on Thursday 12/7, George Biniaris, President of the Masonic Foundation, explained to Hospital Chairman Mr. Emmanuel Papasavvas that one of the main objectives of the Foundation is to help the fellow man by offering to society. M.W. Bro Biniaris stressed that when it comes to helping children who are fighting their own difficult battle, the Masonic Foundation will always be there to help in any way possible, as it has been doing since its establishment in 1927.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Hospital thanked the Masonic Foundation for its long-standing support for children, and presented to the donors a brief audiovisual review of the multifold activity of the Elpida Foundation,as inspired by its late founder Marianna Vardinoyannis.
At the offering event that took place on Thursday 12/7, the President of the Masonic Foundation George Biniaris pointed out to the President of the Hospital Mr. Emmanuel Papasavvas that one of the main purposes of the Foundation is to help the fellow man and offer to society. In particular, said Brother Biniaris, when it comes to helping children who are fighting their own difficult struggle, the Masonic Foundation, within the framework of its purpose, is and will always be of help in any way it can, as it has been doing since its foundation in 1927.
