On Saturday, May 3, the election of the Grand Master and the Council of the Grand Lodge of Turkey took place in Istanbul. Brother Remzi Sanver was re-elected as Grand Master. The installation of the New Authorities was solemnly performed in the presence of 42 delegations of Regular and Recognized Grand Lodges from all over the world.
The Grand Lodge of Greece was represented by Grand Master Brother George Biniaris, who stressed the will to further strengthen and develop relations between the two neighbouring Grand Lodges with a common tectonic history.
On the eve, a dinner was served in honor of Brother Biniaris by the brothers and members of the families of the Greek-speaking Truth Lodge under the Grand Lodge of Turkey, in the presence of the Grand Master of Turkey and the Grand Grand Grand Master of Turkey and his High Grand Brigadier.
