On Saturday, April 12, 2025, a large delegation of “Dimitrios Margaritis Lodge No. 103” of Thessaloniki and many other brothers travelled to Sofia to take part in the twinning ceremony of “Dimitrios Margaritis” Lodge and “Harmony Lodge No. 125” of Sofia.
The ceremony took place in the spacious conference hall “Ruby Hall” of the “Ramada” hotel, due to the large attendance of delegations from many lodges from all over Bulgaria, Turkey, Italy and England. The Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Greece, Brother George Biniaris and the Grand Masters of Bulgaria and Turkey greeted the event with an audio message.
The proceedings were graced with the presence of the Second Grand Master Brother Liubomir Petrov, the Grand Master of Ceremonies Brother Vladimir Karamishev and the Grand Steward Brother Ilia Ganev from the United Grand Lodge of Bulgaria.
The twinning ceremony took place in English and in honour of the invited brothers, a ceremony of admission to the first degree followed, based on the ancient Amillis ceremony. This was followed by a formal dinner after the wives.
